Book customs with ocean booking

Maersk.com offers you the opportunity to manage your ocean bookings and customs clearances on one platform.
Here’s how you can add export customs with your ocean shipment.

  1. Start your New Ocean booking.
  2. Add customs to a shipment: In additional service page, you will see export customs listed for your Maersk shipment. Click on Add for the shipment.
  3. Add shipper: You will be asked to add shipper to booking.
  4. Submit booking: Before you click submit booking the Maersk Customs Services Terms & Conditions will be listed for your review. 
  5. Upload your documents through MyCustoms: To complete your clearance, you will see a link after booking for you to manage customs clearance and upload the relevant documents.
  6. Clearance status displayed: You can always see your next action and customs status. In case of any missing documents or clarifications, your local representative will contact you.

Book customs after ocean booking

MyCustoms, your integrated customs booking and management hub, provides many convenient online solutions for simple, efficient and fast customs clearance.

Here’s how you can add customs after booking your ocean shipment:

  1. Go to MyCustoms: Log into the Maersk Logistics Hub and go to MyCustoms on left hand navigation bar.
  2. Add customs to a shipment: In MyCustoms, you will see a list of your Maersk shipments. Click on Show Prices for the shipment for which you want to add customs.
  3. Choose a customs clearance option: Select from the available options. Accept Terms & Conditions and Confirm Customs Booking.
  4. If you already have a customs contract: Your bookings are automatically sent so all you need to do is upload your documents to get customs cleared.
  5. Upload your documents: To complete your clearance, you will be asked to upload the relevant documents through MyCustoms.
  6. Clearance status displayed: You can always see your next action and customs status. In case of any missing documents or clarifications, your local representative will contact you.
